- Residents, property and business owners in Downtown
- People concerned about the health of Eagle Harbor
- People concerned about shoreline access and protection
- Advocates for sustainable growth strategies, livable communities, conservation, recreation,open space, trails and shoreline access.
We must envision the future, and plan for, and manage change. The Island's population is expected to increase 30% (7000 people) by 2025. Bainbridge island has an adopted growth strategy to locate 50% of new residents in Downtown. Providing access to the water, recreational opportunities, open space and managing development and conservation of Waterfront Park to are important strategies in keeping downtown livable. The community must help develop a master plan for Winslow Waterfront Park.
This consultation has now closed and the Government's formal response is available.
